Tribal Belly Dance American Tribal Style dance is known for its fluidity, and improvisation. The class will focus on core strength, isolations, musical interpetation and improvisation, along with the foundation of movement vocabulary.
Each week the class with include an emphasis on posture, stretches and a breakdown with drills of one or two slow moves and fast moves. Each session is divided up into 8 weeks for each level.
Class Attire: If it's your first time, you're probably wondering what to wear. Anything aerobic wear to comfy leggings and a t-shirt or tight sport shirt, to a whimsical long and flowing skirt. Please be comfortable A hip scarf like a shawl (to help accentuate your hips) nothing with bells or coins because they will distract your movement. Socks, dance shoes or bare feet. Anything that won't hinder turns or sliding movement. one hour class
Belly Dance Yoga It's a movement system that combines bellydance and yoga. Putting strength, flexibility and focus on yoga with fluidity and isolations of bellydance. The class will consist of a hypnotic routine using everypart of the body and mind.
